We are excited to announce Vidsy.ai 0.7, a release that greatly improves model performance, improves selection, adds richer ROI/event rendering, and expands model configuration and training features.

Highlights​

improved models and analysis​

  • The new models are now able to detect boxes and keypoints. Lots of new training data also allows for better performing models
  • event detection of angular rotated connections and mush more.

Smarter Image & Observation Handling​

  • Group observations by image to edit multiple boxes per image without duplicates.
  • New filtering modes: All, Selected, or Unselected images in the results.
  • Faster and safer Select All for massive indexes.

Richer ROI & Event Playback​

  • Event attributes stored and replayed over time for dynamic event styling.
  • ROI output stream controls showing/hiding boxes and keypoints per category.
  • Mesh overlays and formatting outputs for advanced visual feedback.

Model & Training Controls​

  • Per-model and per-category accuracy tuning with relative global adjustments.
  • Attribute model sampling speed controls to skip frames when appropriate.
  • Empty-class category support for multi-class training.

  • Graph outputs can set ROI styling (color, fill, border width, target).

ROI Output Streams​

  • Store ROI visibility instructions in the DB and replay them during playback.

Variable Accuracies​

  • Base accuracy per model, optional category overrides, and relative global adjustments.

Sampling Speed for Attribute Models​

  • Skip frames for long-lived attributes to speed up processing.

Empty-Class Category​

  • Train with an explicit empty class for better multi-class classification.

Windows-Style Selection​

  • Filter the image list by selected/unselected status with live counts.

Recording to Bundle​

  • Name recordings up front and save them into project bundles.

Camera Tabs​

  • Toggle camera layout between list and tabs, persisted per user.

Trigger Configuration​

  • New analysis configuration dialog to manage graph settings and enable/disable graphs.

Category ROI Visibility​

  • Toggle category visibility for boxes/keypoints per model.

Reliability & Performance​

Recording Timeline Accuracy​

  • Align event and observation timestamps with recording offsets and clamp negatives.
  • Better recording start-time sync and offset handling when analysis starts late.

Media & Remux Stability​

  • More robust WebM recording and ffmpeg remuxing to preserve duration metadata.

Bundle Integrity​

  • Consistent bundle file cleanup and validation flow improvements.
